Testimonials from clients of Dordogne Storage Solutions

I cannot recommend this company more highly. Great team, organisation and value for money. All delivered in impeccable English and French with goodwill and humour. Thank you DSS.

We are very happy with the long-distance move handled by the DSS team. They were friendly, punctual, professional, positive and extremely respectful of our items and our time. Quick and clear communication with Ian and very positive interaction with our movers. We will definitely recommend them and would hire them for future moves.

Moved us from Málaga to France and Ian does all that they claim and is flexible enough to get the job done when it seems to be going wrong. Does all it says on the tin and more!

The move was from France to Portugal. It was easy to get a quote from Ian. Kyle was a great help staying in touch about his ETA. As a lady it was great to have his help. He was polite, super professional and tidy. The items arrived in Portugal with no issues and very promptly. It is not easy finding someone who will do removals to Portugal and I would certainly use Dordogne Removals again.

Ian was super in the communications leading up to the first removal and arrived dead on time. He and Kyle were highly effective in the removal even though we had slightly more items than first booked and Ian was able to facilitate perfectly. We also left our camping car at his storage facility which were perfect and took advantage of the excellent on site camping site. 6 months later and after further excellent dialogue we signed for our new house and Ian and the boys were already at the premises unloading as we drove up. A quick 2 hours and we were unloaded with everything going where we requested.

We can’t thank Ian Jo and the guys enough for the super efficient and friendly job they did for us and would without hesitation recommend them to anyone requiring a house removal, storage or camping car, caravan storage. And it is perfectly situated for the whole of the southwest of France.

The best service I could imagine.

I stored a vehicle with Ian for several years. He was wonderful in communicating, taking care of the vehicle, and extremely supportive moving it from France to Germany. I cannot recommend this team highly enough!

Cannot praise highly enough.

I genuinely could not sing enough praises for Ian and his professionalism – he is absolutely fantastic as what he does. I recently hired Ian’s company, DDS, to help with the clearance of my late grandmother’s house, which I inherited and had been struggling to manage, due to various factors! For a lot of us, moving / clearance of a home is a really sensitive matter – being the last living family member, inheriting this house, it was a daunting task to even step foot into the property. From the moment Ian handled my enquiry, I was blown away by his knowledge, kindness, and attentiveness. He went above and beyond in understanding with my situation, and provided a service that was not only efficient but also deeply compassionate. Ian is a credible, knowledgeable, and passionate business owner who truly cares about the work he does, for a great price. The value of his service to me has been beyond words, and I cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you are looking for a company that will handle your needs with the utmost professionalism and care, this is the one.

Very successful move with a period in storage. It was exactly how you would want it to be.

I generally do not write any reviews but on this occasion I have decided to break the habit.

This company were amazing from the initial visit to the final delivery. The recommendation on where to obtain packing boxes and the flexibility shown were amazing. Ian has an amazing ability to communicate with all around him, which makes moving so much easier. Everything he promised, he promised he delivered on and this made our move such an enjoyable experience.

Thank you so much.

I have no hesitation in recommending this company to anyone.

So after being guided by Ian on how many boxes we needed to pack up all our belongings he and his team were very reassuring and supportive during this potentially stressful time. They co-ordinated this process with Watson European and after storing all our furniture at a very reasonable rate they passed the baton to Andy and his team who picked up and delivered everything from France to our new home in Scotland with no hassle and no dramas. We are enormously grateful to Ian and Kyle for talking us through the protocol and paperwork necessary these days when crossing the channel. Thank you for making it easy and stress free.

Highly recommend

Ian thank you so much for your help and also the very smooth and easy process of moving out of Sainte-Terre.

You were a very reassuring presence and made us feel that anything was possible and reduced the inevitable stress of moving.

Gregor thanks you for your kind message and we both send our very best wishes to you

We have stored our caravan with Dordogne Storage Solutions for the past two years and were very sorry to leave, due to bringing our caravan back home to England. Ian and Jo have gone above and beyond in providing a secure and flexible storage facility, always friendly, welcoming, and accommodating on our visits to store/collect. On our final visit to bring our caravan back home, we had a problem with our lights and Ian very kindly fixed this for us so we could get safely on our way. – We otherwise would have likely incurred travel delays and the additional expense of getting somewhere to look at it for us – we are very grateful, not only for the stress and expense Ian saved us, but as a general reflection of the high level of customer care we have always experienced here. We have had peace of mind and assurance in leaving our caravan here, knowing it is safe and just as we left it on return, and the added benefit of having the camping site on arrival/departure is also a great bonus. Despite the high level of assurance and customer care, the storage prices here are excellent value for money. We would not hesitate to recommend them, or to return our caravan to their facility if we planned to return to the area. We only wish we had a storage facility even half as good at home in England! Many thanks. Claire & Jon.

Thank you to Ian and his team for a seamless move from the UK to France! Extremely reliable and professional service. Always available to answer questions and help. Thoroughly and highly recommended!

Many thanks for a fast, efficient service. Dordogne to Yorkshire without tears! Highly recommended.
